From The Driver’s Seat –
Quotes From Ron Hornaday:
“Nobody has the advantage
anymore in this point battle. I think this championship is going to go to the
guy that has the least amount of bad luck. I’ve been saying for the past few
weeks that this thing is going to come down to Homestead and here we are. We’re
three points behind Johnny Benson, but I have all the confidence and faith in
the world in Rick Ren (crew chief) and everybody at KHI. We know what we have to
do and we just need to treat this week like it’s just another race.”
Atop The Pit Box – Quotes
From Rick Ren :
“We are going into the final
race of the year and it’s a big one. It has been a long season, but all the guys
on the team and everybody at KHI has worked so hard and put everything they have
into this. We’ve had a lot of ups and a few downs, but we just keep digging and
have that ‘never say die’ attitude to show everybody that this is a
championship-caliber team and that is something that we can all be proud of. We
have a good truck for Homestead and we know that Ron is going to drive his heart
out for us to try to win this championship, so we’re going to do everything we
can for him.”
Chassis No. 030 Returns at
Homestead :

third start of the season this Friday night in the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami
Speedway. Hornaday finished fifth at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in September with
this truck and scored a second-place finish with it at Atlanta Motor Speedway in
October. |
