Hornaday qualified a strong 3rd at California Speedway in the ACDelco #2 Chevrolet for Saturdays event at the 2 mile oval, located in Fontana California.

After the event at California Speedway, Ron will fly to Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, California with teammate Kevin Harvick, and the two will trace the race back to their roots and compete in the Late Model event at the 1/2 mile banked oval where they both cut teeth in the sport of stockcar auto racing.
