"I'm not slated to run the car, Kevin is, but this is a chance for Wally Rodgers and I to work together and have things set up for, Kevin." commented Hornaday.

Asphalt is where Hornaday has made his name, but it's the dirt that gave Hornaday his start, while racing Motorcycles on the West Coast. Now, he's teaming up with the next generation of Hornaday Racers... Hornaday's only grandson, Slater, has been tearing up the MX tracks on the East Coast, and Ron (Pappy) has been by his side the past few events. Hornaday has 3 lovely granddaughters, Lacey, Viktoria, and Lily, who do there best to cheer Slater on, while also spending time with their Pappy. "The girls are great, they bring me so much joy, I just can't get enough hugs!"
