Hornaday 15th at Darlington
March 16th, 2002 - Ron Hornaday and the G.M.A.C. Chevrolet finished 15th, after starting 31st in the DarlingtonRaceway.com 200

In the first half of the race Ron took the G.M.A.C. as high as 14th and headed for the front.

Around the half way point, the day changed when Hornaday hit the wall causing body damage. Hornaday brought the G.M.A.C. Chevrolet in the pits and the Team Hendrick's crew went to work to repair the damage, and a four tire change, keeping Hornaday on the lead lap.

"I have to thank Rick Hendrick for the opportunity to run this G.M.A.C. machine, and my Hat's to this Hendrick crew, they put me in a top running car, and great team work in the pits." commented Hornaday after placing 15th in the DarlingtonRaceway.com 200. "I am looking forward to Bristol, that will be fun."

Ron and Team G.M.A.C. will head for Bristol, where last August Hornaday qualified the Channellock Chevrolet 17th in the The Food City 250.
