May 17th - Ron Hornaday will pull double duty this week-end, running in both the "Winston Open", Winston Cup Series event, and the "Stacker 2, 200" Busch Series event at Nazareth Speedway.

Hornaday will pilot the BAM Racing #49 Winston Cup Dodge, and the Carroll Racing / Dr Pepper #26 Busch Grand National Chevrolet.

The two race deal with BAM Racing is an

attempt to help the BAM team along with BAM driver Shawna Robinson. "I have worked with BAM Racing in the past, and this is the next step." Hornaday continued, "They are a new team with a rookie driver and I will do all I can to help improve their program".

This week-end will be the second run for Hornaday in the Carroll Racing Team machine, after finishing 15th last week-end at New Hampshire International Speedway. “We wanted a little higher finish last week. We ran in the Top-10 for the first half, but ran into some problems in the second half. It was a good start, and I am looking forward to working with the Dr. Pepper Team".

Ron Hornaday is a Two-Time Craftsman Truck Series Champion, he was the 2000 Busch Series Most Popular Driver, and ran a full Winston Cup Schedule in 2001. "I just have to be in a race car, it's my life', commented Hornaday.
