Hornaday, Beating The NASCAR Blues With Dr Pepper Racing
Loudon, NH (May 9, 2002) - The 2000 Busch Series Most Popular Driver, Ron Hornaday will be behind the wheel of the Carroll Racing / Dr Pepper #26 Chevrolet Monte Carlo this week-end.

Hornaday had a week off after subbing for Ricky Hendrick in the GMAC #5 for six races, and wondering what was next. As the

NASCAR Blues were about to set in, Hornaday has just what the Dr ordered, a ride !  Hornaday will pilot the Dr Pepper Chevy for the next five races, and then Hornaday and Carroll Racing will assess their situation and determine their future.

Hornaday and Carroll Racing head to Loudon, New Hampshire, for the BUSCH 200, NASCAR Busch Series event. “Another flat track, doesn’t bother me a bit, I grew up racin' flat tracks", commented Hornaday, "I love New Hampshire,  I won the first truck race here in ’96, and I know I can win here again".  The two-time Craftsman Truck Series Champion has posted two wins, seven Top-5's and eighteen Top-10's in his 58 Career Busch Series starts.

Along with Dr Pepper,  the Air Jamaica Vacations logo flies on the #26 Carroll Racing Chevy.  "It's great to be working with Air Jamaica Vacations too," said Hornaday. "I love their Beach Bash. I have had more fun hanging out with all of the fans the past few years, and my wife Lindy and I look forward to going back this year, but to be a part of their race program is just awesome."

The race will take place on the 1.058-Mile Flat Paved Oval this Saturday, May 11, at 12:30 p.m. ET and telecast Live on FX and MRN
