July 30th, 2002 - Ron Hornaday is set to qualify the Blair.com / BAM Racing Dodge this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Hornaday has worked with BAM Racing for several months and is looking forward to the trip to the Brickyard.

BAM Racing had Hornaday in the car testing at Indy a few weeks ago and feels positive about this weekend.  As far as Hornaday is concerned, everything is a team effort.  The stage is set and it is just a matter of time until the BAM Racing Dodge team finally reaches their peak being competitive in the Winston Cup Series.

Hornaday, who pilots the #26 Dr Pepper / Carroll Racing Chevrolet in the Busch Grand National Series, has been on a roll with top 5 finishes in the past three events. "I have to thank Dave Carroll for allowing me the opportunity to run at the Brickyard with BAM Racing." stated Hornaday. "It has always been my dream to race Winston Cup. I get in the car set to race, Winston Cup, Busch, it doesn't matter what series it is, I am in it to race"

Qualifying is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET Saturday and to be broadcast live on TNT, and Happy Hour is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET Saturday on Speed Channel.

The race will be covered live on NBC, Sunday at 2:00 pm ET, with radio broadcast on MRN Radio.
